Feeling a bit sad at the moment. An unfortunate and very sad event occurred as I drove out of Mackay 2 days ago, on my way to Airlie Beach … I witnessed a single vehicle fatal car accident, or more scarily I was nearly involved in a nasty head-on collision. Until this happened, I hadn’t realised how alone and vulnerable one can feel on an empty country road, another car, wheels still spinning, in a ditch, with people inside it. Thankfully, with the help of many people who subsequently stopped, we were able to extract a lady and her child, but sadly her partner didn’t make it … very sad.
Seems a bit frivolous to talk about Big Things, so I won’t on this blog entry … will return to them tomorrow Xxx M
