Gosh I have fallen out of routine for this blog!

I have been in Sydney for a bit, as well as a week in Brisbane with my son James and his partner Kym. It was very relaxing, as well as fun celebrating James’ birthday too. I had a nasty cold while in Sydney that did curtail my activities for a few days.

I went to Sydney to see Cirque du Soleil with my son Charles to celebrate my birthday. I also celebrated with many friends, doing many things. Went to a fab Turkish Restaurant in Barangaroo with Ali and Aldous … They made a huge fuss of me … Felt very special. Also did lunch at the Rocks Market with friends Sue and Brian … Topped off with a lovely long ferry ride … Such fun!
Leaving Sydney finally a couple of days ago to stay at High Range property of Aldous, just near Bowral and Mittagong … Amazing views, amazing storms, amazing winds!
Ali and I went to ‘town’ for afternoon tea … Very posh. Found this cow on top of a building in Mittagong.
And Gillie and Marc made an appearance in Mittagong too!
On my way south from Southern Highlands was this Big Bowl!
And Tongarra … The Big Coke Can!
Now I went down the coast and up the Macquarie Pass … Steep and winding … Lots of trucks … To Robertson. There I found the Big Potato … Looks like a Big Poo (visited Kiama to find the actual Big Poo, but it no longer a exists … Luckily Robertson has the next best thing lol)
Robertson also has this Big Coffee Pot and Cup … Had lots of age, and quite stylish.

On the Big Things List is the Big Taipan, but on investigation it is the entrance to a ride/slide at the Jamberoo Fun Park. It was closed so I could only take a distance photo!

Not a Big Thing, but on top of a big pole … Found this helicopter outside a steakhouse near Jervis Bay … Didn’t see the connection myself though!

A really ugly Big Dinosaur outside a nursery in Milton … Not sure they get any uglier!
Across the road … Advertising the Hilltop Golf Course … A Big Golf Ball and Tee.

Finally reached Bateman’s Bay … A busy, growing town … I have visited before … This photo is for Louise in Hobart … Local ducks and ducklings around my van.

I have decided to be better at completing entries for this blog … Weeks is too long to remember what happened … Must be old age!
