Spent the previous week in Darwin taking my van to various mechanics and auto electricians. I think that today it is finally fixed! Yeah! Big thanks to Amelia and Greg for letting me hang out at their place xx.
Have been doing a few things with Amelia and Greg in and around Darwin. We went to the Adelaide River Jumping Crocodile Cruise. Not sure I approve of teaching crocodiles to jump high out of the water to get food, and I am sure Amelia feels the same … It seems a highly potentially dangerous activity. Amelia decided to climb on the Big Crocodile at the River Cruise departure jetty … Took a quick photo! She looks happy, but in reality the crocodile surface was very hot!
Amelia and I went to see Bridget Jones’ Baby … Good ‘chick flick’. And the three of us went to the Mindil Markets and watched the sun go down … Brilliant!
Am going to spend the weekend tidying up the van before I take off next week. I am glad I came through to Darwin as I would have been in Adelaide at the same time as the nasty storm. I have decided to head over to Brisbane to miss the mess in Adelaide and surrounds, although NSW is copping it a bit too! Have to see …
