While stuck in Darwin waiting for car service and diabetic medication, I have been driving around and visiting Kakadu and outlying suburbs of Darwin. Found several big things from the Wiki list, as well as some other interesting statues, which I have included in my Big Things photos.
Big Boxing Crocodile in at Humpty Doo is very impressive …
But just down the road is the Big Jumping Crocodile … not as big, but also very impressive …
Now for the other ‘big things’ … a dinosaur found in garden statue place …
A giant frog … actually there were 4 of these monstrosities … also at garden statue place!
Off to the side of the dinosaur … a Chinese dragon … not a ‘big thing’, but very intricate.
And a large Buddha …
Finally I got lost … again … and found this Big Bulldog!
Before I post this entry I should add an example of a termite mound that has been ‘dressed’ … very funny!
