Finally arrived in Broome … Furthest distance from Hobart, within Australia, that I could get lol. Went through Halls Creek and found this public art … Very nice interpretation of a boab tree.
Although this Boab Prison Tree at Derby is much more impressive! Fitroy Crossing was also an interesting town, and the Resort Caravan Park was very upmarket compared to the bare bones accommodation at Victoria River and Warnum on the previous nights.
I couldn’t post this blog without including this magnificent sunset, even though it made the last 10 kms of driving a bit of a challenge!
Am off to explore Broome tomorrow, book my ballooning flight and horizontal falls trip (thanks boys and Kym xx) and walk on Cable Beach at sunset … Yeah!
